£30,990
This Ariel Ace of Diamonds is number 9 of only 10 ever made and has covered just 932 miles and is in as you would expect immaculate unmarked condition it features Ohlins Suspension, BST Carbon Fibre Wheels, Titanium Hand Made Exhaust and Manual Gearbox. On offer is ballistic performance combined with a comfortable riding position, this is as much a work of art as it is a motorcycle.
Each bike was tailored to whatever paint colour the customer wanted but sported the same striped graphics. The number 9 on the seat back denotes its number in the production run verified by the authentication plaque mounted to the frame. Covered just 932 miles from new and benefits from the following specification upgrades, full Ohlins suspension (£4400 extra), Ohlins handlebars, carbon hugger, crash bungs and black seat stitching, and very expensive full carbon wheels. It is also supplied with a model related registration number.
As with all Aces, power comes from the 173bhp, 1237cc V4 engine borrowed from Honda’s VFR1200, allied to shaft drive through the stock VFR swingarm. Ariel certainly can’t be accused of borrowing the main frame from anywhere else with its unique aluminium sculpture-like creation being custom CNC machined for the range.
