The Autolounge are delighted to present this iconic 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition, one of the most sought-after modern Japanese performance cars ever produced. Imported into the UK in 2016, this TME has had just three UK owners since arrival and represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a genuinely rust-free and enthusiast owned example. Upon import, the car received a underbody coating and remains remarkably solid throughout, with none of the corrosion issues often associated with these cars.

This is very much an enthusiast's Evo, having benefited from significant mechanical upgrades during its life. In 2017, the original engine was upgraded with a fully forged 4G63 built by the renowned Simon Norris of Norris Designs at a cost in excess of £10,000. The engine was subsequently dyno tested by Norris Designs and produced approximately 500bhp, offering performance to match the Evo's legendary reputation.

Cosmetically, the car presents extremely well Further investment includes work carried out by respected Evo specialist Brian Downie, who fitted a new exhaust system, refurbished the brake calipers and completed various additional maintenance and improvement works. The car has been stored in a dry garage and has seen very little use in recent years, remaining largely unused since the most recent round of specialist work. As such, it presents an excellent opportunity for the next custodian to recommission and enjoy one of Mitsubishi's most celebrated performance models.
